Sweater Dogs
Wally in his sweater
Roxy in her sweater.
Roxy in her sweater.
Well, let me just say that it's been cold outside. We have had some snow. The temperatures have been 40 degrees and below. I started feeling bad for the pups. They are used to Hawaii weather and have never seen snow or been in the cold. Yes I bought Roxy a sweater. B bought Wally a sweater. It took me the longest time to find poor Roxy a sweater. I bought her three sweaters. Finally she has one that fits. The first sweater was too small. The second sweater was too big and had pockets that fell apart. Her third one finally fits. They were so happy when we put on their new sweaters. It was pretty funny to watch.
I am a Dog
This picture is not mine.
I made this poem up one day. I thought I would share:
I am a dog. Don't leave me in the fog.
I have no fear when you are near.
But when you leave me in the rain it brings me much pain.
I will fall for my ball.
I want to chase a squirrel. I guess I'll give it a whirl.
I need you and never want to leave you.
When I bug you it's just because I love you.
I bark because I want to go to the park.
So don't beat me. Just treat me.
I am a dog.

Roxy and Her Ball
Roxy with her ball.
"I will stare at this ball until it moves."
"I caught the ball!!!"

"I caught the ball!!!"
Roxy catching her ball.
Roxy loves to play fetch. When you play fetch with her you are most likley not going to stop throwing the ball. If you don't play ball with her, she will play by herself. She'll bounce it on the floor over and over again. She will bring the ball to you again and again until you throw it.If you still don't throw it she will howl and wag her tail { which is to move her entire body}. If you say the word"ball" she gets crazy. Roxy will go find her ball and bring it over to you.

Th Guard Dog And The Caretaker
Wally licking Roxy clean.
Roxy guarding the house.
Roxy is our guard dog.She will bark at every noise that doesn't sound right. She will also bark at anyone who passes our house that we don't know. Wally is the caretaker of the house. He cleans Roxy when he thinks she's dirty. He licks our wounds trying to heal us. He cleans us too. You can just sit on the ground and he'll lick you clean. Roxy and Wally our great dogs to have.

Roxy Snapshots
I was trying to get a picture of Roxy for the cover model search of a pet magazine. I realized when I was getting ready to enter one the date and time were at the bottom of the pictures. I couldn't enter them into the magazine because of this. I thought would share the pictures. I have entered her before. She was inside of the magazine, but not the cover.

Too Hot For Spot
Now that summer is near, we need to take care of our hot dogs and other pets that may get over heated.
Did you know?
Did you know?
- When the temperature outside is above 70 degrees, the inside of a parked car can reach 120-175 degrees within minutes even with the windows cracked.
- Even in the shade a car can get as hot as an oven.
- Even if the air conditioning is on, hot air swiftly replaces the cold.
- Animals left in a car can suffer serious , sometimes fatal, heat-stroke.
- Dogs sweat only through their footpads and through their mouths by panting.
What You can Do
- Never leave an animal parked in the car, even for a few minutes.
- Watch for animals in cars on hot days, if the animal doesn't look too well call the humane society.
- If a car is parked outside of a large store, ask a manager to make an announcement. Many dogs have been saved by this.
- Ask radio stations to make announcements about leaving your dog in a car on the radio.
- Dogs aren't the only animals that need a chill in the summer. Birds and rabbits may need your help to cool off too. Look out for dogs on chains or rabbits in cages that look like they may not be getting fresh water daily. Remind the owners politely to fill the animal's water and to make sure they keep it up.You can also make a birdbath out of a baking pan, but make sure that you keep the water clean.

First Tee Golf
A practice ball for out front { so it doesn't break a window or hurt anyone}.
My tees and ball markers.
These picures are blurry for some reaon, but this is my Baltimore Ravens golf ball.
Close- up of my golf clubs.
My bag of clubs, yes they are heavy.
Me and B are doing the First Tee golf program. I have learned a lot from golf- I didn't know anything about golf before I started First Tee. It is an all year long sport. I bought my own clubs after the first couple of lessons. We go every Sunday at 2 pm. E really wants to play golf, he says" I want to be bigger so I can play golf". He has his own little golf clubs. We have taken him to the mini putt-putt and he loved it. He just wants to be like his big sister and brother, which is all of the time.
