Dog Training Tip #6 Recall

The sixth dog training tip is recall. Recall is used in obedience during dog shows. To train your dog recall follow the instructions below.
1. Tell your dog to sit.
2. Tell your dog to stay.
3. Tell your dog come or front. The dog needs to be completely in front of you. He must be facing you and come right up to your feet.
4. Then tell your dog to heel or finish. The dog needs to walk around you and sit by your right side. He should be facing the same direction as you and his paws  must be aligned with your feet.
